The Public Engagement Report highlights some of the stewardship activities undertaken by Hermes EOS on behalf of its clients over Q2 2019.

Our cover story this quarter looks at the complex and challenging nature of global supply chains, with many companies accessing labour in low-cost regions. The fragmented and opaque nature of these chains heightens the risk of human rights abuses and progress to improve working conditions has been slow. Engager Hannah Shoesmith examines ways to address this problem, such as through improved purchasing practices or giving workers a voice.
