Hermes European Equities A Thematic Approach To Buying Europe

The Hermes Europe ex-UK strategy is a highly active, high conviction strategy with a style agnostic approach. Tim Crockford, Lead Manager, seeks companies that are exposed to themes which drive structural growth and are exposed to new markets and emerging product areas, rather than being reliant on the macroeconomic cycle. The fund will only invest in those companies where the effects of this positive change have not been recognised in future earnings expectations. This search for unrecognised or under-appreciated change combined with an alternative approach to company valuation leads to a concentrated portfolio that is significantly differentiated from our peers.
