Impact Report, Q1 2021

In our view, it is extremely important that all investee companies generate a positive impact that can be measured quantitatively, as well as qualitatively. In this edition of our quarterly report, we introduce our proprietary Impact Database, which we committed considerable time and resource in building over the second half of 2020.

Highlights in this edition of the Impact Report include:

  • The Federated Hermes Impact Measurement Database: We discuss how and why we came to develop this proprietary tool.
  • The impact of our portfolio: We share quantitative data concerning the impact of our portfolio, including metrics around CO2 emissions avoided and hectares of forestland protected.
  • Case studies: We provide case studies for two portfolio companies. They include company-specific highlights from our impact measurement tool.
