Biography

Damien joined Federated Hermes in October 2023 as a Director in the Private Credit team. Previously, he worked as a Director in Macquarie Capital’s leveraged finance team in London. In his role, he was originating and executing financings for financial sponsors across Europe. Prior to this, he worked for two years as a Director in the UBS Acquisition and Leveraged finance division originating and executing leveraged finance transactions for both Corporate and Financial Sponsors. Prior to UBS, Damien spent six years in the Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance Team of Credit Suisse advising and underwriting financings in a variety of sectors for Financials Sponsors across Europe and the US. Damien started his career at WestLB arranging mid-market leveraged buyout financings in Europe. A French national, he holds a Specialised Master in Corporate Finance from EM Lyon School of Management and a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers.
