Dr Emma Berntman focusses on engagements in the pharmaceuticals & healthcare and retail sectors. Prior to joining EOS, Emma was head of the environmental management programme for Sweden at a Nordic hotel chain. Emma holds an MSc in Biomedicine and a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Lund University in Sweden. Emma is fluent in English and Swedish and has a good working knowledge of Danish and Norwegian.

Deborah Cunningham

Debbie Cunningham is Chief Investment Officer of Global Liquidity Markets. She joined Federated Hermes in 1981 as a performance analyst and has more than 30 years of investment experience. Since 1990 she has been a portfolio manager for all government and prime liquidity products. In 1994 she took over the management of the taxable liquidity group. In addition to the domestic taxable liquidity portfolios, Debbie also oversees the management of the domestic tax-exempt liquidity portfolios, as well as the offshore liquidity products. She is a current member of the CFA Society of Pittsburgh and previously held the title of Director and President.

Emily DeMasi engages in North America, with a particular focus on the financial services, healthcare and retail and consumer services sectors. She also co-leads the human capital management theme team. Prior to joining the EOS team, she spent nearly a decade in the socially responsible investing field, first as an academic publishing her graduate thesis on corporate social responsibility in commercial banks, then as a portfolio manager and investment adviser integrating the social and financial objectives of her clients into her investment process. Her work included engagement with portfolio companies to align their positions on environmental sustainability, human rights, diversity, gender equality, LGBTQ equality and employee relations with long-term value creation. Her diverse background also includes non-profit fundraising, impact investing and community investing, as well as serving as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa. She earned her MBA and Master of Public Policy from Duquesne University and her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Boston University.

Claire Milhench manages the production and delivery of client and business communications for EOS. Prior to joining EOS she spent 11 years at Reuters, reporting on the asset management industry, the oil sector, emerging markets and sovereign wealth funds. She has also edited investment industry titles such as Global Investor and Portfolio International. Alongside her reporting and editing experience, she is skilled in brand development, building strategic partnerships, team management and polling. Claire holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Durham.

Chris Taylor

Chris is Head of Real Estate & Private Markets and a member of the Executive Committee. Chris joined the international business of Federated Hermes in 2010, having successfully established Australian fund manager QIC’s European office in London. Prior to that, he was head of European Property at HSBC. Chris spent the majority of his career as a fund manager at Prudential, where he led the diversification of its UK real estate exposure into overseas markets in 2001.
