Biography

Sharon joined Federated Hermes in 2014 as Health & Safety and Insurance Manager and since that time has developed a market-leading risk management team, responsible for directing strategic asset risk management across the Client portfolio. Working with experienced industry specialists she has developed and implemented a programme of management initiatives and best-practice solutions to drive compliance and risk mitigation across all asset classes. She is responsible for the procurement, management and oversight of all insurance activities pertaining the real estate portfolio, working with specialist brokers and within peer group strategy steering committees to ensure placements are cost effective, appropriate and support the sustainability goals of the wider organisation. Prior to Federated Hermes, Sharon has worked as an Operations Manager for both LandSec and BNP Paribas, managing prime estates in Victoria and St James’s, leading on key developments, driving improvements in stakeholder strategies and delivering key customer engagement initiatives.
