Kate joined in April 2018 and works on policy and advocacy within our Responsibility Office, leading on key areas within sustainable finance including climate change and EU sustainable finance regulation. Her role is to engage with regulators and policymakers globally to ensure that the financial system is operating in the best interests of its ultimate asset owners, including addressing barriers to responsible investment and stewardship. Kate is involved in a number of external initiatives, including the UN Global Compact UK Network Advisory Group. Prior to her arrival, Kate worked at A Blueprint for Better Business, developing the charity’s stance on a range of ESG and business topics. Kate has a BA in Classics from Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge.
