Jakob joined in September 2012, initially to focus on promoting our investment strategies to large European investors. In January 2014, he relocated to Singapore to head up the business development efforts in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to this, Jakob spent 15 years on the sell side working for Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He started his career as a European equity institutional salesperson and latterly moved to prime brokerage origination. Over the course of his career, Jakob has worked with a broad range of asset managers, investors, products and geographies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from the University of Rochester, New York, and has completed the Stanford-National University of Singapore Executive Program in International Management.
