Biography

Christoph joined Federated Hermes in March 2022 as a Director in the Private Credit team. He is responsible for origination, analysis and execution of transactions for the Federated Hermes Direct Lending Funds with a focus on the DACH region. Before joining Federated Hermes, Christoph spent over four years at RiverRock European Capital Partners where he was responsible for originating and executing loans to European small and medium sized companies. Prior to this, he was part of the Restructuring and Special Situations Group at PJT Partners (formerly Blackstone Advisory Partners), where he worked on creditor and debtor side restructuring and liability management mandates. Christoph started his career at KPMG where he advised on operational and financial restructurings. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Software Development and Business Management from Graz University of Technology. Christoph is an Austrian national and CFA Charterholder.
