Federated Hermes appoints Head of Data Governance

The international business of Federated Hermes has appointed Sally Bashuan as Head of Data Governance, based in London. Sally joins the firm from Aviva Investors, where she was Head of Data and Analytics for the UK and Europe in their Real Assets business.

Sally will be responsible for overseeing data governance and the overall data operating model for the international business. She will also be responsible for maintaining the data strategy roadmap, aligning to business priorities. She will report to Ian Kennedy, Chief Operating Officer at the international business of Federated Hermes.

Ian Kennedy, COO, commented, “As our business continues to develop and grow so our data oversight becomes increasingly sophisticated. We are delighted that someone of Sally’s calibre is joining us to oversee this important facet of our work as a leading responsible investor.”
