Biography

Orla joined in June 2022 as a senior portfolio manager on the Credit team. Within this role, her responsibilities include working with the senior portfolio management team to build and execute the global fixed income strategy, as well as creating new products and evolving processes in line with the highest of sustainable fixed income standards. Orla joined from Aviva Investors, where she was a senior portfolio manager in the Fixed Income team for eight years. She managed Aviva Investors’ Fixed Income Absolute Return fund, one of the firm’s absolute return product offerings, covering global rates and inflation, foreign exchange, investment grade and high yield markets. Before working in the Multi-Strategy team, Orla was a senior portfolio manager on UK Rates and Inflation and Global Inflation Portfolios. Orla was also a leader of Aviva Investor’s Fixed Income Expert Group, responsible for challenging, filtering and streamlining all Rates and Inflation strategies implemented in portfolios. Orla has a BSc in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics from Dublin City University and an MSc in Statistics from University College Dublin.
