Sonya Likhtman focusses primarily on engagements across Asia and emerging markets. Her thematic expertise includes climate change, biodiversity and board effectiveness. Previously, Sonya worked as a sustainability consultant in London and Barcelona. Her experience spans the design and implementation of corporate sustainability strategies, carbon data management and compliance with environmental legislation in the UK and EU. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge, and was a Herchel Smith Scholar at Harvard University, where she worked on the ethics of climate change and related public policy matters. Sonya speaks fluent English and Russian.
