EMIR: On 29 April 2024 the new EMIR reporting standards first come into effect for Europe.​ European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) published a final report on guidelines for reporting under EMIR in December 2022. The guidelines aim to further enhance the harmonisation and standardisation of reporting under EMIR.​ This requires many new data fields and mandatory use of XML format.
