The international business of Federated Hermes has announced the hire of Mike Daly as Sales Director reporting into Dan Churchouse, Head of UK Wholesale Distribution. Based in London, Mike will be responsible for raising third party assets and generating new revenues from UK Wholesale clients in the capital. He joins the firm in June from Jupiter Asset Management.
The UK is a major market for Federated Hermes stemming from its roots as a manager for the BT Pension Scheme. The firm has since grown its third-party assets significantly and the wholesale channel is now an important part of its overall business.
Mike’s appointment signifies a continued commitment to the UK market and the next phase of growth for the wholesale channel. Having joined forces and rebranded with its US-majority owner to become Federated Hermes last year, the firm now has an extended product range to offer to its growing client base, categorised into three distinct pathways to achieve sustainable wealth creation: Active ESG, Sustainable and Impact.
Daly was most recently sales director responsible for the UK discretionary client channel at Jupiter Asset Management, where he spent the last 13-years of his career growing the firm’s book of business. He joined the firm in 2008 as a sales executive supporting the global bank and asset management sales channel before becoming sales manager in 2011, focused on banks, wealth managers and fund of funds in London and the Channel Islands.
